It looks like Maxis has quietly introduced a new postpaid plan called MaxisGO. At only RM48 a month, significantly cheaper than its main postpaid plan – MaxisONE, MaxisGO comes with free calls and SMS, as well as up to 2GB of free data.
The MaxisGO plan is a more balanced postpaid plan. It comes with 100 minutes of calls, 100 SMS, 1GB of data, and an additional 1GB of data for 2am to 7am, all for only RM48/month.
As always, when you finish up the internet quota, you will not be charged at a pay-per-use rate, however, your internet speed will be throttled. Calls and SMS charges after you finish up the bundle are charged at 15sen/min and 10sen/SMS to all networks.
With the introduction of MaxisGO, it looks like Maxis has removed its entry-level MaxisONE postpaid plan – MaxisONE Start. This means that Maxis currently has 4 different postpaid plans (principal line) – SurfMore50, MaxisONE plan, MaxisONE plan lite, and MaxisGO.
